At 12:50am on 23/09/25 Police have received reports of suspicious men wearing balaclavas seen in and around gardens on Church Street, Kingham. This area has recently been targeted by organised criminals seeking high-end vehicles. Police will be increasing patrols in the area, on foot and in marked and unmarked police cars. Please look to improve home security Ensure all doors, windows, garages, and outbuildings are locked – even when you are home.Consider fitting a monitored burglar alarm and CCTV system covering driveways and entry points.Install security lighting or motion-activated lights to deter intruders. Always lock your vehicle and remove keys from sight – never leave them near doors or windows.Store keyless entry fobs in a Faraday pouch/box to block signal cloning.Fit additional security devices such as steering wheel locks, immobilisers, or a tracking device.Consider placing an Apple AirTag or similar tracker in a discreet location inside the vehicle.Park in a well-lit area or a locked garage whenever possible.Report Suspicious Behaviour: If you see anything suspicious, report it immediately on 999 |
